Student Immersion is an international learning programme that gives students the chance to experience school life, culture, and community life in another country at first hand.
Unlike a study tour, which focuses on sightseeing, Student Immersion places students inside local school and community life for a set period.
During the programme, students can:
- Join lessons at a local school and interact directly with local students.
- Get to know the culture and daily life of the destination country.
- Use a foreign language in real situations, not only in the classroom.
- Stay in a homestay or student residence for direct experience of the local environment.
- Build international friendships and learn to communicate with students from many backgrounds.
- Develop independence, confidence, adaptability, and global awareness.
- Take part in academic activities, school projects, workshops, and educational visits.
